Liberated Biography of a Mountain
Besides other prohibitions in communism, there were also prohibited mountains, for example those sang about in chetnik songs. Jelica is one of the most remarkable ones among them. Beautiful, freedom-loving and rebellious, she didn’t seem to mind much. Dressed in its forests and legends, in its gifts and horizons, hospitable, she buckled around its sanctities: Stijenik, Ježevica, Trnava… She knew that everything comes to an end, and that such times will end as well. We set off to that mountain, never spoken about, yet glorious, and noted many details

THIRD CENTURY OF EXISTENCE OF THE CITY HALL IN ZRENJANIN
Non-Fading Graciousness
It was raised in 1820, based on the project of Joseph Fischer. It was dressed in neo-baroque by Gyula Pártos and Ödön Lechner in 1887. Famous for its Ceremonial Hall, Pantelić’s Clock, Kratzmann’s stained glass. Dragutin Ristić, colonel of the Serbian Royal Army, announced freedom from its balcony on November 17, 1918. The balcony was rearranged so that Josip Broz Tito could wave from it on May 11, 1952. Many movies, series, videos were filmed in this beautiful building. A monograph, which will eternalize all this, will soon be published

Perhaps the best Southern Slavic painter besides Paja Jovanović, Bukovac succeeded in the most difficult court, in the main world stage, the one in Paris. He created a synthesis of almost all styles of his time, from realism, orientalism, Japanism to symbolism, pointillism, divisionism. He was engaged in all subjects of art. He established artistic life in Zagreb, was a favorite professor in Prague, created portraits of many monarchs from the Obrenović and Karađorđević dynasties. Serbian Literary Cooperative published one edition of his autobiography ”My Life”. Besides everything else, he was also member of the Serbian Academy
